TypeFace Book Design and Illustration
The task was to design a book based on the history and
different weights and characters of a typeface of my choosing. It had to contain the following, a table of contents, display a quote, and showcase all the letters and numbers. I used different Futura fonts to create a cohesive design based on the typeface. My inspiration for the space theme came from Neil Armstrong’s plaque that he left on the moon in 1969 because the typeface Futura was used in it’s design.
